About Emily

Emily is a naturopathic student in her 4th and final year of school, where students learn first-hand the clinical aspects of naturopathic practice. Originally from Arizona, Emily studied biochemistry and human biology at Northern Arizona University and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 2015. She then moved to Toronto to further her medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and to pursue her interest in blending traditional medicine with science-based health care.

Main Interests

Emily is excited to learn more about all aspects of human health but is especially interested in mental health, digestive concerns, endocrine disorders, skin conditions, pain management, and healthy aging.

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a research-based field that utilizes tools such as clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, naturopathic manipulation, exercise, and lifestyle counseling to help manage and prevent disease. Naturopathic doctors are primary health care providers who offer individualize treatment in order to address the root cause of their patient's concerns.
